For the youngest visitors to be able to ride the RailBikes, they must be at least three years old.

How many Rail Bikes do I need for two people?
Just one. Two people can sit on each RailBike. Only one bike is needed for a single rider.

What time do I need to be at the RailBikes station?
All RailBikes guests must arrive at the depot (100 West Laurel Street, Fort Bragg, California) at the time listed on your confirmation. If you arrive late, you won't be able to ride, but we can put you on another time/day if there is space.

You can, but because of COVID-19, we'd instead you do this ahead of time so that you don't have to touch as many things. When you fill these out ahead of time, your check-in goes much faster.

What happens if it rains?
You'll get a little bit wet. But we encourage you to let out your inner child and jump in a few puddles. No matter the weather, our RailBikes run. If the storm is terrible, we will cancel the run to keep you safe and return your money. We can give you a gift certificate if you do not go in the rain (that never expires).

Can we change our plans?
Yes. We know that things will happen. If you cancel your reservation at least 72 hours in advance, you can get a full refund or some gift certificate that never expires. Reservations made in the last 72 hours can be moved to a different day or time or turned into a gift card.

What clothes should I put on?
We suggest waring layers that feel good. The weather on the coast is more relaxed, and how warm or cold Glen Blair Junction is will depend on when you ride. With layers, you should be able to stay comfortable for the whole ride.

Can I bring food and drinks?
Yes. We recommend this because you can enjoy the redwoods for 50 minutes, and picnic tables and a hiking trail go in a loop. On each RailBike, there is a basket where you can put things you brought with you. The best thing is to put everything in a bag or backpack. Please no alcohol.
