Itinerary
1. Start underground — literally — in the cellar of one of Amsterdam’s finest cheese shops. Here, you’ll sample aged and young Gouda paired with a seasonal Dutch liquorette or port. A rich, flavorful beginning to your local food adventure.
2. Let's take a peak into a brown bar that has been serving sailors for over 400 years.
3. Writers, students, bookworms, and artists gather on Spui market — especially on weekends. It's authentically Amsterdam, and the perfect place to visit an excellent fishmonger.
4. Better than Belgian waffles? We’ll let you be the judge. At this 200-year-old bakery, stroopwafels are made right before your eyes — gooey, crispy, and sticky in the best way possible.
5. We will point out where to find a 15th century hidden garden with a secret house church! If time allows it - we can even peek inside.
6. Try "Dutch Sashimi", the herring we eat for more then 1000 years! Served by a family business known to serve the best seafood since 1982. Only for early birds: tours that start lastest 4pm.
7. Flower Market (Bloemenmarkt) – Stroll past Amsterdam’s world-famous floating flower stalls on the Singel Canal, where tulips bulbs and blooms brighten the city year-round. Note: Most tours include this stop, but every guide’s route is unique.
8. Taste Duch pralines! The Dutch are #1 cacao importers in the world ($1.54 billion), we even eat chocolate for breakfast.
9. See the 400 year old University where young intellectuals sharpen their mind with Dutch Spirits and Bitterballen
10. Discover the enchanting Jordaan district of Amsterdam, renowned for its cozy brown cafés. Immerse yourself in the rich history as you savor the heavenly delight of poffertjes, fluffy miniature pancakes drenched in butter. Treat yourself to this delightful experience and raise a glass of local brews to complete your unforgettable journey trough Dutch food culture!
11. Take a culinary journey through Dutch cuisine against the stunning backdrop of Amsterdam's 17th century canal rings.
12. Taste the meaning of "Dutch Courage" in a centuries old "Brown" Pub famous for it's apple pie and local beer. Cheers to a great tour.
13. Get a glimpse of the 400 year old royal palace where the house of Orange once lived.
14. Join us on a mouthwatering journey through Amsterdam's canals and the vibrant 9 streets! Our passionate local foodies will guide you through intriguing tales that connect scrumptious dishes to the city's historic roots. From a small fishing village to a global trading powerhouse in the Golden Age, Amsterdam's wild transformation is reflected in its eclectic food culture.
15. Anne Frank House (Ask guide if walk by) – See one of Amsterdam’s most moving landmarks, where the famous diary was written during WWII. Note: Most tours pass by or end within walking distance, but every guide’s route is unique.

Not all stops have seating available, so guests ideally should be comfortable walking and standing. Also eateries might have steps and small stairs. Mobility challenges? For a shorter route a private tour is recommended (please inform us! ).
