The High Cascades Scenic Tour will take you on an incredible up-close journey through the Cascade Mountains. This is the only ATV Tour in Oregon packed with beautiful views, lava tube caves, Lava Fields, Alpine Lakes, Volcanic Black Sand Dunes, and some of Central Oregon best trails.

From SISTERS - Travel West on HWY 242 for 5.5 Miles. Turn Left on Trout Creek Butte Rd (NF-1018) (paved). Follow the paved road for 0.7miles until it turns to gravel, take an immediate right on to NF1510. You will see our trailers and storage containers.

Itinerary

1. McKenzie Pass-Santiam Pass loop
Arrive at our staging area located just off of the Scenic McKenzie Pass byway 5 miles outside of Sisters Oregon.
2. Skylight Cave
Ride on fun scenic trails to Skylight Cave. You can choose to go down into the cave and see the beams of light that the "skylights" create in the cave.
Duration: 10 mins
3. Cache Mountain
On the two hour tour you will ride near the base of Cache Mountain offering incredible views of Mt Washington. If time allows some of our 2 hour tours make it to the top. To guarantee going to the top consider our 4-Hour Black Sands scenic tour.

4. Along your ride you will ride near the incredible Belknap Lava Field walls. The same lava field where astronauts trained for the apollo mission to the moon.
5. Cache Creek Toll Station
On your ATV adventure you will pass by where the Cache Creek Toll Station was. It served as a place to collect fees for passage until 1914. It also served as a road house with food, lodging and supplies available for purchase by early travelers.
6. Deschutes National Forest
Drive your ATV through some of the most scenic trails in the Deschutes National Forest

7. Santiam Wagon Road-Mountain House Trailhead
The Santiam Wagon Road was a freight route in the U.S. state of Oregon between the Willamette Valley and Central Oregon regions from 1865 to the 1930s. It is considered one of the most important historical routes in the state.
