Itinerary

1. Karnak Open Air Museum
Your Karnak and Luxor Temples tour begins with a convenient pick-up from your hotel in Luxor. Our friendly and knowledgeable guide will greet you with a warm welcome, ensuring you’re comfortably settled before we set off on our adventure. The first stop is the magnificent Karnak Complex, the largest religious building ever constructed. As you walk through its colossal gates, you'll be transported to a world where ancient gods and powerful pharaohs reigned supreme. Marvel at the grandeur of the Hypostyle Hall, with its 134 towering columns, and the sacred lake that once played a crucial role in religious ceremonies. The Karnak Temples are not just a sight to behold—they're a journey through thousands of years of history.
Duration: 120 mins
2. Luxor Temple
After exploring the Karnak Temples, we’ll make our way to the equally impressive Luxor Temple, a masterpiece of ancient Egyptian architecture. Unlike Karnak, which was dedicated to the gods, Luxor Temple was built to honor the divine aspect of the kingship itself. As you enter through the massive pylon gate, you’ll be greeted by the colossal statues of Ramses II, standing as guardians of this sacred site. Wander through the elegant colonnades and gaze upon the stunning reliefs that adorn the temple walls, each telling stories of divine rituals and royal power. The Luxor Temple, especially when lit up at dusk, offers a serene and magical atmosphere that is simply unmatched. As the sun begins to set over the Nile, we’ll conclude our journey with a relaxing drive back to your hotel. Our guide will ensure you have all the time you need to ask questions, take photos, and soak in the atmosphere of these timeless monuments.
