Itinerary
1. Your professional guide will pick up you at your city hotel or other downtown area at your preferred time. Upon meeting, spend few mins to discuss with your guide the places you need to visit. As exclusive private tour, your itinerary is flexible and can be 100% customized around you. Following is the sample itinerary and you are welcome to tell your guide if need make adjustment during the tour. Typically, your exclusive half day tour begins a walking along the beautiful China town "Old town" bazar, here enjoy exploring the “Qing Dynasty” ancient town, walk along nine-lucky bridge, stroll along Shanghai Old Street and appreciate the beautiful ancient Chinese architecture and colorful local arts, crafts and more. You may enjoy some fun souvenir shopping and sample best street food here.
2. Next, pay the visit to the 500-year old Yu Garden (Closed on every Mondays, can replace other site at Jade Buddha Temple or French concession based on your interests),follow your guide to explore the ancient garden built with artistic designs, tranquil chambers , see the famed dragon wall and unique rockeries ,immerse yourself in the picturesque pavilions dotted with ponds in the lush greens while learning the rich culture and history from your expert guide.
3. Continue to The Bund , see the " lover's wall " and take in the fantastic old and new skylines while you strolling along Huangpu river bank , include iconic Oriental Pearl TV Tower, 2000 Feet Shanghai Tower, "Bottle opener" tower , famed Peace hotel ,Old Customs House along with other historic heritage. Set your cameral ready and capture the best memories of Shanghai.
4. Then , to Pudong Island,walk up the skybridge among the futuristic skyscrappers. Marvel at some of the world's tallest building that witnessed Pudong's fast development. On the nice clear day ,choose to visit one of the top observation deck in Shanghai Tower, Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Jinmao Tower to get spectacular bird-eye view of the mega Shanghai city. Or simply get on to Nanjing road ,leisurely stroll down to feel the dynamic vibes of magic city in China's No.1 shopping street. Or experience the European-glamour at French concession. For return travelers, you may choose to explore other popular sites like century old Jade Buddha Temple. Learn the locals go about their life, custom, see Tianzifang creative park, Shanghai Museum, Urban Planning Hall, Shanghai poster art museum, AP Plaza market etc based on the time and your own interests. After the wonderful tour you will be dropped off to the hotel or other places you prefer in the city center.
