1. Your local friendly guide will pick up at your Shanghai hotel. Follow your guide to the former expo site in Pudong. Upon arrival, admire the splendor red architecture of “China Pavilion”, an iconic showpiece of 2010 Word Expo, now converted into the 27-Hall China Art Palace Museum. Here spends quality time to check out different halls and galleries that include both home and international arts, such as paintings, sculptures, prints, works of neo-socialist realism, the masterpieces stocked from The British Museum (London), the Rijksmuseum (Amsterdam), Maisons de Victor Hugo (Paris) etc. Appreciate the most popular exhibition at “River Scene During Qingming Festival “which vividly showcase the prosperous street scene and daily life of ancient Song Dynasty, get good glimpse of traditional life and culture from your guide.
2. Next head to Lujiazui, the hub of World’s financial center, enjoy the nice walk on the skybridge among the “Towers of the forest”, see some of the amazing modern architecture include Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Shanghai Tower, Shanghai World Financial Tower, Jinmao Tower. Marvel at the amazing development of Pudong New Island in the last few decades. Take the super-fast elevator (18 Meters/Second) to the top observation deck at Shanghai Tower to enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of the mega Shanghai. You could substitute the Shanghai tower to one of the other observations at Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Jinmao Tower or Shanghai World Financial Tower based on your own preference. After the great tour, your guide will see you off at your Shanghai hotel or other downtown area as per your request.
