Itinerary
1. Your local friendly guide will meet you at the hotel you stay at your preferred time. Start your local adventure by stopping at the beautiful and the largest Yuexiu park in the heart of the city. Enjoy a leisure walk among the lush greens, lakes, see Five Ram Statues and ancient city wall while learn the historic origin of the city from your guide. Next hop on to local metro or Didi to the local famed Yum Cha restaurant, savor the local famous dim-sum as well as other popular local delicacies along with the freshly brewed tea. Your guide will help you recommend the food based on your dietary requests. Immerse yourself in the amazing eating culture in Guangzhou.
2. On the way stop at the largest traditional Chinese medicine market, marvel at the thousands of the shops selling various Chinese herbs, antlers, fins of fish, tried specialties, pills, natural materials, cooking spices and more. Experience the interesting sound of the local life as well as learn some of the wisdom of the traditional Chinese medicine from your local guide.
3. Next take a look at Huangsha sea food market, the largest scale in China, amazed yourself with the gorgeous variety of living sea food and creatures, learning about the fishermen make their living going fishing and catching turtles etc.
4. Take a short walk to Shamian Island, the historic concession traces back to the colonial period of Guangzhou.
