Overview
This tour allows you to discover the most beautiful and elegant city in Provence, the historic and rich city of Aix-en-Provence. Not only will you visit the historic centre as you stroll with your driver-guide in search of the most characteristic corners of the old town, but you will also have the opportunity to learn useful information about the culture, food and history, as well as free time to shop and explore at your own pace. Before returning, we will head north of the city to discover Paul Cezanne's favourite painting spot, Mount Sainte Victoire. A half-day tour in a small group with an experienced driver/guide will allow you to make the most of your stopover in Marseille.
Meeting and Pickup
We meet near the building called SEAMEN'S CLUB that is located inside the cruise terminal. After exiting the cruise ship you need to walk between 2 and 15 minutes following the Green strip on the ground.

Itinerary
1. Cours Mirabeau is a pedestrian avenue located in the historical centre of Aix-en-Provence where you can admire numerous private mansions, bars, banks and some of the city's most famous fountains.
2. Mix of walking tour to explore the old city, learn about culture, food, history and art connected to the city, and free time to explore independently. We will bring you to the unmissable everyday food market, and if you are willing to stay with a a bit longer the Cathedral of Saint Saveur. Tuesday - Thursday and Saturday are special market day where you can find all kind of products.
3. Stay with us walking until the Cathedral to discover more about the city and his culinary specialties.
4. A short and easy 5 minute walk will let us admire beautiful residential area, and the favourite spot of Paul Cezanne for painting the Sainte Victoire mountain.
