1. Bow Falls
Your first stop brings you to the powerful Bow Falls, just minutes from downtown Banff. Here, you will witness the strength of the Bow River as it cascades over a wide rocky ledge, framed by Mount Rundle in the distance. This easy-access viewpoint offers incredible photo opportunities and a classic Rockies landscape to begin your adventure.

2. Surprise Corner
Next, you will visit one of Banff’s most photographed viewpoints. Surprise Corner overlooks the Bow River and offers a stunning view of the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel nestled below Sulphur Mountain. It is the perfect place to pause, take in the scenery, and capture that iconic Banff shot.
