Itinerary

1. Krakow

Pick up service takes around 30-45 minutes. On the way to Auschwitz-Birkenau you will watch an introduction movie.

2. Panstwowe Muzeum Auschwitz-Birkenau

Upon the arrival to Auschwitz Museum our tour leader will introduce you to local expert guide. During the tour, you will learn about the history of the largest concentration camp complex from World War II. You will have a unique chance to see objects of everyday use belonging to prisoners, as well as their personal belongings. A local guide will take you to the gas chambers and original barracks.

3. Brzezinka

After two hours, you will have a short break. Then, the group will be transported to Auschwitz II Birkenau (which is also part of the Auschwitz Museum). This part usually takes around one hour and shows the scale of the tragedy and suffering. Next we will depart to Wieliczka - drive takes another 50-60 minutes.

4. Wieliczka Salt Mine

Sightseeing with a local guide takes approximately 2.5 hours. It starts at Level 1 of the salt mine (64 meters deep underground). We will walk around 2 kilometers, visiting around 20 breath-taking chambers surrounded by salt in all shades of grey, black, and white, and two majestic chapels. One of them is one of the most famous chapels in Poland – the Chapel of St. Kinga. The Chapel of St. Kinga is the heart of the mine. It is filled with amazingly illuminated religious bas-relief sculptures carved in salt. During the trip, you will have a unique opportunity to taste the salt on your lips, experience the pure silence, and finally, listen to the stories of the history of the mine. Once the sightseeing is over, we will take the elevator to go back to the surface. You will be delivered to your place of departure.
