They came to see the demise of totalitarianism, and the rise of a free and creative culture among the post war and East Germany deserted buildings. Squats, housing projects, galleries and alternative provisional communities popped all over the city. This heritage made Berlin, till today, a hub of culture, art and graffiti. I would love to walk with you trough those different venues, give you a glimpse of the past and present culture of the city and try to comprehend the intentions of freedom and love those people tried o bring to the walled city trough graffiti, art symbols and alternative free communities.
