Overview

Embark from Rome on a journey to discover three sacred places in Umbria. A comfortable private minivan will pick you up from your hotel or apartment in Rome to take you to Assisi, the birthplace of St. Francis. You will visit the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli and the Porziuncola, a place of prayer. You will explore the medieval streets, the Basilica of San Francesco and the Basilica of Santa Chiara. Since admission is free, it will only be possible to access if waiting times allow, depending on the turnout at the time. After the tour, free time to enjoy lunch. The tour will continue to Roccaporena, the birthplace of Santa Rita, and you will discover the places related to her life, including the birthplace. Finally you will reach Cascia where you can visit the Basilica that houses her body and the Monastery dedicated to the "Saint of the impossibles".
