Agafay Desert & Berber villages & Atlas Mountains, Full Day Trip From Marrakech Discount Tickets

The day will start when we meet you in your accomodation in Marrakech at 9.00am. Then we will drive through the Atlas Mountains and  Berber villages seeing awe-inspiring landscapes and Desert Agafay. We will see the horizon change from lush greenery lined with the fruits of the season.We will then continue to the valley of Imlil at the foot of the High Atlas mountains, than we drive through Asni and Kik Plateau to Amizmiz which acts as a juncture point between the many small Berber villages in the surrounding area. The weekly souks on Tuesday (Tahnaout), Friday (Amizmiz) and Saturday (Asni) are an important part of Berber culture as individual Berber farmers from the surrounding hills bring their goods to sell. After a break for mint tea we go off the car to reach the source of Imi n Tala, in the deep valley of Amizmiz, passing by traditional villages. We will then take a short walk in the village of Tnirt where we will have lunch in one of the traditional Berber houses. Later on we continue our tour by descending to the big plain of Haouz, crossing the village of Ouled Mtaa, inhabited by nomadic Arab tribes originally from the Sahara. We will explore different villages, then we finish our tour crossing the Desert of Agafay. Your  car will take you up and over the rocky dunes where you will have opportunities to stop to take photographs, including one of the sun setting over the desert. We will head back to Marrakech in the evening around 1800
