1. Your friendly private tour guide will meet you in your hotel lobby. Then You will be transferred to Tiananmen Square. The largest city plaza in the world. Learning the revolutionary period of history. Stroll along the Tiananmen Square(Tiananmen Guangchang), Admire the Great Hall of the People (Renmin Dahuitang), National Museum Of China, Chairman Mao Memorial Hall (Maozhuxi Jiniangtang), Monument of the People's Heroes and Gate of Heavenly Peace (Tian'an Men).
2. Visit the 600 years old place, The Forbidden city-The Palace Museum. Forbidden City, the largest Imperial Palace in the world. The world UNESCO Heritage. It used the Royal Palace for 24 emperors from Ming and Qing Dynasty. Enjoy the Hall of Great Supremacy (Taihe Dian), Hall of Middle Harmony (Zhonghe Dian), Hall of Preserving Harmony (Baohedian), Palace of Heavenly Purity, Chuxiu Palace, Turret of The Palace Museum,The Imperial Garden of The Palace Museum and Meridian Gate (Wumen). Please watch the movie of "The last emperor" before you head to Beijing. you will spend about 2 hours here. Listen countless old stories from your tour guide. Get to know Palace at your own pace.
3. The Largest Hall within the Forbidden City. Stunning Wooden Architecture. Take a Glimpse at the emperor's throne. The Royal political place where 24 emperors gave his presentation to the official here in Chinese history
4. Visit the Hall of Preserving Harmony. It is the 2nd largest Hall of Forbidden city. The ancient national royal examine took place and banquets party for royal family as well. then, visit the most stunning clock museum that exhibit the precious pieces from Ming and Qing Dynasty. You can make a stop at the noodle bar here if you need a coffee break (at your own expenses).
5. Finally, visit the imperial Garden in the Forbidden City. In the spring Beautiful garden with blooming peonies, pine trees, pagodas and natural limestone sculptures.
6. Savor an authentic Beijing style lunch in the Hutong. It is where local beijingners lives. The Hutong date back to Yuan Dynasty with over 700 years history. Stroll along the Back Lakes (Houhai) and Hutongs. See the charming Hou Lake, Yandai Xie Street, Yinding Bridge, Beigongfang Hutong,Shichahai Scenic Resort and experience people's life, culture and history. It is the true gem of Beijing.
7. Drum Tower was built in Ming Dynasty with over 600 years history. It offers incredible view of old Beijing. It has 7 drum performance per day. Enjoy a lovely Drum show. However sometimes drum tower is closed. Your tour guide will give you back the Drum Tower ticket fee of 20RMB.
8. Beijing's oldest commercial street, It is lined in traditional-style stone buildings that house charming souvenir and handicraft shops
9. Walk through the lively Nanluoguxiang and enjoy interesting Beijing Narrow Hutongs such as Yu'er Hutong,Mao'er Hutong and Baochao Hutong. There are tons of boutique stores, red lanterns, snacks along the way. Please feel free to shop all the goodies. and take home. At the end of the tour, your tour guide and driver will transfer you back to your lovely hotel.
