1. Orchha Fort
After morning pickup from your hotel lobby in Orchha, drive to palace complex in the comfort of a private vehicle. On a seasonal island on the bank of the Betwa River, which has been surrounded by a battlement wall, stands a huge palace-fort. The fort consists of several connected buildings erected at different times, the most noteworthy of which is the Raja Mahal. The Jahangir Mahal built on a rectangular base and is relieved by a circular tower at each corner surmounted by a dome is the marvel even today. The stunning beauty of the city is characterized by delicate chhatris (elevated pavilions) and intricate trellis work. Also get a look at the two-story brick palace of Rai Praveen Mahal, built in remembrance of a 16th-century poet and musician. You may become awestruck upon seeing the prismatic light of sun rays slipping through skilfully carved recesses in the main hall and other chambers.

2. Chhatris Cenotaphs
Visit Chhatris of Orchha. The Chhatris or the cenotaphs in orchha are another of the many historical tourist attractions in Orchha. These are memorials of the rulers of the Bundels and are laid down in a row of 14 along the beautiful banks of the Betwa River. It reflects a wonderful sight though to some it looks uncanny. Drive to the Laxminarayan temple, This temple displays a perfect and unique mix of temple and fort architecture. Though the temple is dedicated the Goddess Laxmi. Drive back to your hotel to take a break for lunch (at your own expanse) and some rest, you can also choose to stay in the bazaars to try some of the local restaurants.

3. Chaturbhuj Temple
After lunch, Visit Chaturbhuj Temple; decorated with various symbols of religious significance, this majestic temple is mounted upon a giant stone platform and reached via steep stairs. Admire the subtle ornamentation of the exterior and step foot inside to see the high, vaulted walls that imbue a sense of sanctity and peace of mind. Spend some free time to walk around (perfectly safe) and soak up the blissful vibe of this beautiful historic cum religious hidden village. The atmosphere in Orchha is far more laid-back and hassle-free.

4. Betwa River
Walk down to river Betwa to witness the photo perfect view of the sun go down behind chhatris from the sun set point.

5. Shri Ram Raja Mandir
Walk back to the town to visit the Ramraja Hindu temple to be the part of evening Aarti ceremony. Services at the temple happens twice everyday round the year. We advise you to dress modestly to visit a religious place. Anything made of lather is not allowed in the temple premises. Return back to the hotel lobby in Orchha with happy memories!
