Itinerary
1. Your air-conditioned private car will collect you from your Hotel to start this classic Cairo tour. Your personal guide, a qualified Egyptologist, will accompany you on the short drive out to the Giza pyramids. Marvel at the three major pyramids: the Great Pyramid of Khufu, and the two pyramids built by Khafre and Menkaure. You'll then head to a viewpoint for panoramic views of all nine pyramids of Giza silhouetted against the desert sands.
2. inside Giza pyramids area you will head to Sphinx and the valley temple to see the Body of Sphinx and Listen to mysterious stories about this Statue
3. Still at Giza, you'll admire the Sphinx, the vast half-lion, half-human statue still standing after almost 3,500 years, before hopping into the car for another short drive to Saqqara. This expansive necropolis was the cemetery for the city of Memphis for thousands of years. Here you'll be able to see the oldest pyramid in Egypt, the Pyramid of Djoser, and marvel at the stunning art and carvings in the tombs of the nobles: your guide will explain the meaning of the scenes.
4. Memphis or Mit Rahina Musuem Your last and shortest stop is at the remains of ancient Memphis itself, Egypt's first capital, another short drive from Saqqara. You'll return to your hotel with an excellent understanding of the ancient history of the area, lunch is included.
