It sits above Bow Lake and is a striking example of the region’s glacial beauty, with multiple ice “toes” extending down the mountainside. A perfect stop for photos, short walks, and scenic views of the Canadian Rockies.

Summer season : 20 minutes Winter season : 15 minutes Bow Lake is known for its crystal-clear turquoise waters and stunning mountain backdrop, including the Bow Glacier. 6. Peyto Lake
Summer season : 30 minutes Winter season : 75 minutes Peyto Lake is famous for its vivid turquoise color and wolf-head shape when viewed from the Bow Summit lookout. Fed by glacial meltwater, the lake is surrounded by towering mountains and lush forests, making it a must-stop for photography and short hikes.

7. The Crossing Resort
