This is a good example of the affluent part of Soweto. This is where you will see the beautiful and big homes along side the hostels. Hostels where formally built for migrant mine workers. This will be a drive through.

3. Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital - Department of Social Services
This is the biggest hospital in the Southern Hemisphere. Here we will just do the drive through.

4. Orlando Towers
Once a coal powered power station, today it is an entertainment place. It has helped to create jobs for local people. Stop for pictures.

5. Orlando East
This is where you will see the shanty towns or squatters along side some government houses.

6. Vilakazi Street
This is a very famous Street in Soweto and the world at large. The Street which has been the home to 2 peace Nobel prize winners. Along side the street there are bars, restaurants, street vendors, Tutu house and the Nelson Mandela museum. Travellers can visit Mandela museum.

7. Hector Pieterson Museum and Memorial
This is a memorial site dedicated to the up rising of the children of Soweto of 1976. This when the children were raising their voices about being taught in Afrikaans instead of English. You will walk in the garden of remembrance and see the famous picture of Hector Peterson.
