Itinerary

1. Reguliersgracht
Look along the Reguliersgracht for its famous sequence of seven bridges. From the water, the arches frame a striking view of Amsterdam’s canals—a moment to have your camera ready. This landmark forms part of our usual route; the route may change depending on waterway access and traffic.
2. Magere Brug
Cruise beneath Amsterdam’s famous Skinny Bridge over the Amstel. Local legend promises lasting love to couples who kiss as they pass underneath—a romantic story to accompany one of the city’s most recognisable bridges. This landmark forms part of our usual route; the route may change depending on waterway access and traffic.
3. The Amstel
Spot the leaning canal houses along the Amstel, known as the Dancing Houses. Their uneven silhouettes turn a row of historic homes into a playful waterfront scene. Can you spot which way each house leans? This landmark forms part of our usual route; the route may change depending on waterway access and traffic.
4. House On The Three Canals
Look out for a canal house bordered by three different waterways: Grimburgwal, Oudezijds Voorburgwal and Oudezijds Achterburgwal. This unusual Amsterdam landmark even became KLM’s Delft Blue miniature house number 105. This landmark forms part of our usual route; the route may change depending on waterway access and traffic.
5. Sea Palace Restaurant
Discover an unexpected sight on Amsterdam’s waterfront: Sea Palace, a floating Chinese restaurant operating since 1984. Its distinctive architecture brings a striking contrast to the canal houses seen earlier on the cruise. This landmark forms part of our usual route; the route may change depending on waterway access and traffic.
6. NEMO Science Museum
See NEMO’s copper-green silhouette rising above the Oosterdok. Architect Renzo Piano designed this Amsterdam landmark above a road tunnel, turning an engineering challenge into one of the city’s most distinctive buildings. This landmark forms part of our usual route; the route may change depending on waterway access and traffic.
7. Montelbaanstoren
Look for the historic Montelbaanstoren beside the Oudeschans. Nicknamed “Malle Jaap”, the tower became known for a clock that rang at unexpected hours—and then stayed silent for days. This landmark forms part of our usual route; the route may change depending on waterway access and traffic.
