1. Stellenbosch
Stellenbosch is one of the oldest settlements in South Africa. Take a walk in the streets which are lined with coffee shops as well as art and craft shops. Travelers will meet international students as this is home to Stellenbosch University. There is also a village museum with four houses built between the 1700s and 1900s.
