These pictures of IRA ,UVF murals are often flashed around the world on news bulletins or used as a backdrop when interviewing people. They were used as a tool to exhibit the history and political views of their community and were used as a method to mark their territory. These wall paintings often look intimidating but they have become as much of a tourist attraction as many of the regular attractions within Belfast and beyond.

We do not offer direct pick up from the cruiseship. There is a free shuttle bus offered by Visit Belfast that will drop you directly to our pickup point at Belfast City Hall. We also offer pick up any where within a 1km radius of Belfast City Hall.

Deceased Republican prisoners from the Greater Clonard area 1916-1970. Commissioned by: Greater Clonard Ex-Prisoners' Association. Date unveiled: 20 August 2000 Notes: Plaques in memory of all Republican prisoners from the area who have died since 1916 were unveiled on 11 March 2001. Annual commemorative march held around 11th March.
