1. Liyuan Theatre

You can get here by a taxi or Metro Line 7 and get off at Exit C of Hufangqiao.(虎坊桥)Station. Then, follow the navigation and walk for 10 minutes to reach the theatre. Beijing Liyuan Theatre was established in 1990 and is an important venue for showcasing Peking Opera art. It consists of a performance hall, an exhibition hall and a sales hall. The repertoire is composed of carefully selected excerpts from Peking Opera, including Sanchakou, Farewell My Concubine, The Scattering of Flowers by the Celestial Maiden, etc. Electronic display screens have been set up in the auditorium, which can show the lyrics in both Chinese and English. The performance time of the Liyuan Theatre at Jianguo Hotel, Qianmen, Beijing: From January to June and from September to December, there will be Peking Opera performances every Wednesday to Saturday from 19:30 to 20:30. Performances are suspended on Sundays and Tuesdays. From July to August and on legal holidays, there will be Peking Opera performances every night from 19:30 to 20:30. Performances are suspended for one day on New Year's Eve!
