Overview

Jean BRUEL created “Bateaux-Mouches®” in 1949, introducing a novel activity to the Seine and marking the advent of river tourism in Paris. Today, with this 1 hour and 45 minutes cruise, you'll discover Paris by its most beautiful avenue. Taste our traditional French cuisine on board and enjoy the magic of Seine river as you pass by some of the most prestigious historical monuments in the heart of the city.

Meeting and Pickup

Meeting point

Boarding at 12.00am. Departure at 12.30am. End of the cruise At you arrival, you will be greeted by a hostess who will show you where to board. In exchange for your proof of booking, our reception staff will give you your boarding pass. Customers with cars can park free of charge on the quay.

Redemption Instructions

• Boarding begins at noon. Boat leaves the docks at half past twelve. Cruise ends at 2.15pm

Itinerary

2. The most iconic of Parisian monuments appear to your eyes as a french queen.
3. Histoty of Paris and the places where victor hugo set his most famous novel are before you
4. Sail past the world's largest museum and see it in the light of day.
5. The neo-renaissance style Hôtel de Ville in Paris was rebuilt in the 19th century after being burnt down during the Commune rule of 1871. Today, it serves as the Paris City Hall.
6. What remains of the palace of the first kings of France, the Conciergerie became a prison during the French Revolution.
7. Formerly the île aux vaches (cow’s island), here you’ll find the most beautiful 16th and 17th century houses, constructed for the most part by architect Le Vau.
8. The oldest stone bridge in Paris, it was opened in 1606. At its centre, you can see the equestrian statue of King Henri IV, nicknamed Vert Galant (The Green Gallant) because of his many female conquests.
9. With its façade hinting at its past life as a railway station, constructed in 1900, it today serves as a museum displaying masterpieces of the 19th century, and more precisely, the work of the Impressionists.
10. Recognisable by its dome adorned in fine gold, it was originally built as a hospital for the war wounded under the reign of Louis XIV. Today, it houses the tomb of Napoleon I and the Musée de l’Armée (Military Museum).
11. Built for the 1937 World Exhibition, it houses various museums (the Naval Museum, the Museum of French Monuments, the Museum of Man...)

If you wish to reserve for a larger number of people, we invite you to make several reservations and to contact us immediately to inform us that you wish to be seated at the same table. If we do not hear from you, we will not be able to guarantee a single table, with the risk that the group will be split between several boats.

No menu is provided for children under 4 years old, who are accepted on board free of charge. If, however, you wish to reserve a menu for your child under 4 years old, we invite you to purchase a menu for 4 - 12 year olds (details on the official Bateaux-Mouches website)
