Perfect for first-time visitors, this guided walking tour takes you to the major sites of central Lisbon. As you follow your local guide, you will get great insight into the city's history and culture. Experience old Lisbon by walking around the Moorish Alfama neighborhood (the city’s oldest quarter). Admire the Eden Theatre, Rossio Train Station and the cafes and boutiques of the elegant Chiado neighborhood. Meeting and Pickup
Meet by the statue in the large square with two fountains and a tall column topped with a man. Look for the guide with a blue badge and a blue bag or black backpack. If you see a man on a horse, you're in the wrong square. For ride-shares, select Praça Dom Pedro IV in Lisbon (not Queluz)

Meeting point is at Praça Dom Pedro IV, 1100 Lisboa, Portugal. ATTENTION: if you use a ride-sharing app to get there, be sure you choose Praça Dom Pedro IV in Lisbon (and not the one in Queluz - in this case you will be taken to a wrong place outside Lisbon!) Look for the guide with a blue badge and blue bag or black backpack Meet by the statue. It's a big square with 2 fountains on each side and in the centre a high column with a man on the top. If you are on a square with a statue of a man on a horse, you are in the wrong square.

Itinerary
1. Rossio Square or Praça do Rossio, officially called Praça D. Pedro IV, is Lisbon’s nerve centre. The square is situated in the city’s Baixa neighborhood.

Situated near the Tagus river, the square is still commonly known as Terreiro do Paço because it was the location of the Paços da Ribeira (Royal Ribeira Palace) until it was destroyed by the great 1755 Lisbon earthquake. After the earthquake, the square was completely remodeled as part of the rebuilding of the Pombaline Downtown.
