Itinerary
1. Please note that the following is a sample itinerary and may vary depending on traffic conditions, guest requests, and the pace of the tour. Some sites may not be accessible by the 7-15 passenger minibuses, so the schedule will be adjusted accordingly for larger groups.
2. Visit the splendid Parliament building from outside and listen to some interesting facts about it.
3. The Basilica is the largest church in Budapest, houses Hungary’s most sacred treasure, St. Stephen’s mummified right hand, the Szent Jobb (Holy Right Hand). We recommend visiting the Basilica from inside as well, as it is one of the most beautiful churches of the country with many exciting details.
4. The Jewish Quarter is one of the most exciting parts of Budapest, where you can see the largest Synagogue in the city, emblematic ruin bars and more!
5. The Museum is a grandiose Neo-Classical landmark of the capital.
6. Built in 1897, the Great Market Hall is the most beautiful and the largest indoor market in Budapest.
7. There are two remarkable things to see on the top of Gellért Hill: the Citadel and the Liberation Monument. Don't miss visiting Gellért Hill if you would like to see incredible panoramas and hear interesting stories.
8. In the Castle district (part of World Heritage) with its unique panorama, we take a walk and show you the Buda Castle, the Alexander Palace, the Dísz square, the Holy Trinity Square, the famous Matthias Church, and the Fisherman’s Bastion (look-out terrace).
9. Located near Matthias Church, the Holy Trinity Statue can be found in the middle of Trinity Square. The column commemorates the people of Buda who died from two outbreaks of the Black Plague.
10. One of the most unique churches in Europe, located in the heart of the Castle district.
11. Without a doubt, Fisherman's bastion is one of the most visited attractions in Budapest. Don't miss visiting this place if you would like to see gorgeous panoramas from the lovely look-out towers.
12. The Heroes' Square is a great place to learn about Hungary's rich history. Here you will see the Heroes' Monument, the Millenary Monument, the Art Gallery, the Museum of Fine Art and more.
13. Vajdahunyad Castle is a romantic castle in Budapest, located in the beautiful City Park by the boating lake (skating rink in winter). If you wish, you can take a nice walk with your tour guide around the castle in this beautiful green area.
14. This theater-looking building is a swimming pool and thermal bath. Take a look at the famous Szechenyi Bath, located in the City Park.
