Overview
Belvedere is a historic building complex consisting of the Upper and Lower Palaces, the Orangery, and the Palace Stables. The grounds include decorative tiered fountains and cascades, Baroque sculptures, and majestic wrought iron gates. Originally built as a summer residence for Prince Eugene of Savoy in 1723, the Belvedere Palace is currently a museum, home to Gustav Klimt's "The Kiss" and works by Van Gogh, Friedrich, and Schiele.
