Meeting and Pickup
We are located In the center of Copenhagen next to St. Nikolaj Church and Metro Station "Gammel Strand". Important. Please MEET UP 15 min. BEFORE START. Late guests might not go. In case of rain, tour cannot be cancelled. Rain Ponchos are availabe at no cost. The tour will be great- Rain or shine.

Hello, Thank you for choosing Segway Tours Copenhagen for your bike tour. Important: Training and preparations for the tour will begin 10 minutes before the scheduled departure time. Please be on time. Please be advised that we're a social bunch so if your group for the day include under 5 persons on bike, you may be joined by other guests who are driving Segway. This will not affect the itinerary and we will never exceed the maximum of 10 participants as promised. DIRECTIONS AND INFORMATION Our bike tours start from Nikolaj Plads 34. Itinerary
1. Check-in & Training: Arrive 15 minutes prior to tour start. You will receive your very own radio receiver, so you can hear your guide on the tour.
2. Cruise by the main pedestrian street, Strøget, and hear grand stories about it on your way to The Kings Square.
3. Cruise through this fantastic iconic and recreational square with stunning 18th century hotels and theatres
4. Come in under what the locals call the Birdbox and hear why we call it by that name and admire the beautiful hidden mosaic that it boasts
5. Stop for the iconic Copenhagen picture at this fabulous art centre with a clever view to the picturesque Nyhavn that only the best of Instagrammers know
6. Come right up in front of one of Copenhagen's most stunning churches that is an architectural gem
7. Cruise right into the centre of the square in front of the Queen's and crown prince's and crown princesses residence, Amalienborg Palace. Tune into stories about royal dramas, royal guards and get a fantastic insight into Danish culture. Of course you can't stop here either without getting a picture on and off your bike!
8. Cruise up in front of the locals favorite statue - the Gefion Fountain, and snap a picture of this jaw-dropping fountain and hear stories about Vikings and how Copenhagen came to be.
9. Hang out with the iconic Little Mermaid and hear some interesting tales about this legendary figurine, which was made popular by both Hans Christian Andersen and Disney!
10. Cruise in a beautiful car-free zone and admire stunning views of Copenhagen's harbor side. Here you also check out Kastellet - a grand military fortress from the 17th century still functioning to this date. As you cruise, tune into your guides stories about Copenhagen as both a war and a merchant harbor, which made the city extremely prosperous!
11. Have a brief stop at Copenhagen's stunning waterside with views to the cutting-edge Opera House, while you witness first-hand why the grand building was put at this specific location (it's pretty cool!)
12. Experience Copenhagen's lively Ofelia Square first-hand, where you sometimes can be lucky enough to experience different events like Opera Festivals, Jazz Festivals, Ballet Festivals and concerts on the water or just see the locals plunge into the water.
13. Cruise through the Royal Play House's beautiful boardwalk on your way to Nyhavn
14. Cruise through the post-card like Nyhavn with its romantic colors. Tune into stories about Copenhagen as a merchant port and hear how this location used to be Las Vegas before it was even built! Get off your bike and take those picture-perfect snaps of this gorgeous place.
15. Cruise by the iconic Old Stock Exchange with its wonderful dragon spire from the 17th century and hear how Copenhagen, and Denmark, once have been a world-wide powerhouse
16. As we cruise down the water-side we will cruise by the cutting-edge Black Diamond. Here we will even venture in a tucked-away street to check out a beautiful, romantic and quiet garden not even locals tend to know about
17. Settle in at The Parliament located at Christiansborg Palace on your Segway and hear stories about kings, queens, politics and our welfare state. Here you'll also hear why Danes are considered some of the happiest people in the world every single year in the rankings
18. Once we hit the Latin Quarter you will truly feel the every day Danish life. This part of Copenhagen is less frequented by tourists and has the most cosy streets where you’ll really experience ‘hygge’. You will pass many interesting places dating back centuries on this stretch and even some hidden gems with some very nice stories.
19. By now you will have finished your 2 hour bike tour through Copenhagen at the same place you started it and have seen 90 % of Copenhagen’s most treasured locations. After handing in your your radio receiver and the warm clothes you might have borrowed, you are more than welcome to stay back in our lounge and enjoy a complimentary cup of warm coffee, tea, hot chocolate or a cold water, beer or juice and ask your guide anything you would like.
