Itinerary
1. The biggest amphitheater in the Balkan, build during the Roman Empire
2. Built in the sixth century, it was considered as one of the most powerful fortresses along the western coast of the Adriatic. Architectonic elements of the structure and historic records show that the fortress was rebuild in the first half of the fifteenth century, when Durrës was ruled by the Republic of Venice.
3. Walk along the sea, in the main promande, exploring art instalations, modern and komunism time. Each statue has its own story.
4. We will visit the lower city by the river, Mangalemi and Gorica. Will walk to the mos beautiful alleys, visit the Cathedral and Mosque of Sulltan. Time for lunch now. 1 hour 15 minutes.
5. We will drive to up to the castle, walk in the medival city, enjoy the view from top, enter inside the old churches, hear the stories behind each stone.
6. On the way back to Tirana, we will stop for relaxing, in the lake of Belsh
