2. Yoho National Park
Winter in Yoho National Park is like stepping into a fairy tale, where snow-draped mountains, frozen waterfalls, and serene alpine landscapes create a magical wonderland.
3. Lower Spiral Tunnels Viewpoint
Pass by the famous Spiral Tunnel, a remarkable railway engineering achievement built to help trains navigate the steep Rocky Mountain terrain. Your guide will share interesting facts and stories about its history and importance.
4. Emerald Lake
One of the most admired destinations in Yoho National Park is Emerald Lake. This gorgeous emerald coloured lake is a result of the light refracting the deposit of rock flour in the lake. Emerald Lake is surrounded by the President Range that forms a natural amphitheater with towering forested banks. If you look carefully, you might be able to spot some really cool wildlife such as marmots, bald eagle, bears, loons, and the occasional moose!
