While encouraging reflection & respect, we keep the tour engaging & fun. • Lincoln Memorial - see the famous statue, hear about our 16th President, see where MLK, Jr. stood to give the "I Have A Dream Speech." • Vietnam Veterans Memorial - hear the stories behind the wall of names of those killed and missing in action. • Korean War Veterans Memorial - see the 19 statues representing servicemen. • MLK Memorial - honor our Dr. King at the newest memorial on the Tidal Basin. • WWII Memorial - find Kilroy hidden amongst the columns honoring the states and territories. • White House - see the south lawn of the White House where Marine One lands.
Meeting and Pickup
Walking Tour starts from outside the Lincoln Memorial Gifts & Cafe on Henry Bacon Drive (this is across the street from the memorial itself). We are not affiliated with anyone inside the gift shop. Please meet your guide outside on the sidewalk. This is a walking tour.
End Point
Our tour ends at the Washington Monument, where your guide will assist you in joining the line to go to the top for a self-guided visit where you can spend as much time as you'd like.
Redemption Instructions
• Our tour ends at the Washington Monument with tickets to enter! Please plan on additional 30 minutes or so after our tour in case NPS is running behind on admission. • You must join the tour in order to enter the Washington Monument, we can not accommodate guests who are more than 15 minutes late to the tour starting location. • We are not affiliated with the National Park Service. Tickets to the Washington Monument are arranged for our guest as part of the tour. We do not sell individual tickets to the monument apart from our tour. If the monument is closed for any reason; the NPS does not refund ticket fees but will accept entrance on another day on a first come first served basis with original tickets.

Itinerary
1. It is the most iconic memorial in the country, dedicated in 1922, honoring the 16th President, Abraham Lincoln who occupies an almost mythic and revered place in the hearts of Americans everywhere.
2. See the famous Reflecting Pool at the Lincoln Memorial as it stretches down the National Mall; seen in Forrest Gump and historic events such as Dr. King's I Have A Dream Speech.
3. A quiet place designed for reflection, this memorial has over 58 thousand names of US casualties from this conflict etched into the black granite panels. Accommodating the wall is the Three Soliders Statue and a memorial to the female nurses who served.
4. This memorial has a black granite wall reflecting 19 stainless steel statues representing the 38th months of the Korean War. This was not just an American effort, and this memorial honors all those United Nations countries.
5. Step off the National Mall to the Tidal Basin to visit one of the newer memorials dedicated to Martin Luther King, Jr.
6. 56 granite pillars surround the fountain in this majestic tribute to the greatest generation of Americans who came of age in a time of economic depression, and emerged from this conflict as heroes. Stroll around the grounds and you will learn about different aspects of the war from the perspective of the US which fought in both The Atlantic and Pacific oceans. Dedicated in 2004, this memorial is popular with visitors to DC.
7. See the south lawn of the White House, where the President's helicopter, Marine One, lands.
8. 555 Feet tall, this is the largest free standing masonry structure in the world! A monument to the first President and Father of the Country, George Washington. Since 1888 this monument has towered over DC and the surrounding country side.
