1. Casa de Aliaga
Casa Aliaga is one of the oldest and best preserved colonial houses in Latin America. It is located in the historic center of Lima, Peru, right in front of the Government Palace, and has been inhabited uninterrupted by seventeen generations of the same family since its construction in the 16th century. Its history is closely linked to the founding of the city and the development of the viceroyalty of Peru. Over the centuries, Casa Aliaga has been remodeled and expanded, blending diverse architectural styles, from colonial to neoclassical baroque. Its interior houses an impressive collection of antique furniture, colonial paintings, religious sculptures and decorative objects that reflect the aristocratic taste of the different eras. Among its most prominent spaces are: The central courtyard, typical of the colonial houses of Lima. The family chapel, finely decorated. The dining room and main halls of the 19th century.

2. Museo Convento San Francisco y Catacumbas
After our visit to Casa Aliaga, we will head towards the Catacombs, a complex network of tunnels and burial crypts under the Basilica and Convent of San Francisco, used as a cemetery from the mid-16th century to 1810, with about 25,000 bodies buried.
