2. Piazza del Popolo
Piazza del Popolo means the People's Square and was located on the inside of the northern entrance for foreigners into the city during the Roman Empire. It's here you can visit Santa Maria del Popolo church and see the obelisk in the centre of the square dedicated to Ramesses II.
