Meeting and Pickup
We can offer you the pick-up service if you are in the city center, otherwise you must arrive at the meeting point between 10 and 15 minutes before the tour starts. Meeting point: Hotel Intercontinental Cali / Address: Avenida Colombia #2-72
End Point
The tour ends at this tourist site, this area is safe and you can easily take a Taxi or Uber service. It will also be close to the meeting point and the colonial neighborhood of San Antonio.
Redemption Instructions
Hello and good morning! Thank you for booking this experience with us. Please let us know where you are staying and if you are in the city center or close by we can arrange a pick up. If not, make sure to arrive at the meeting point 10-15 minutes before the tour begins. Please note that there will be a considerable hike, it is not a challenging hike but you must bring comfortable shoes and suitable clothing for the sun. Use sunscreen and mosquito repellent. The city is usually very sunny and it does not rain often, but it is a tropical climate so it is very unpredictable and you should bring something for the rain just in case. The return to your place of lodging is not included, the tour ends in the San Antonio neighborhood. If you have any other questions or requests, please let us know. Hotel pickups begin approximately 30-40 minutes before the start time.

Itinerary
1. We'll arrive to the Cristo Rey Monument and begun our walk up to the Statue. Along the way we'll be able to enjoy the wonderful 360 degree view of the rural and urban area of Cali. In the top well have the best viewpont of the city.
2. We'll visit the monument dedicated to the founderof the city. In here we'll have a view point of the northwest side of the city, and you'll have the opportunity to take the most iconic picture of Cali with Sebastian de Belalcazar.
3. Get amazed by one of the most iconic park of Cali: The Cat Park. Let's stroll alongside Cali river and discover Tejada's Cat and the cats that make him company.
4. Let's walkaround the Jairo Varela Square. Discover the importance and influence that Jairo Varela and Grupo Niche has to the culture of Salsa in Cali and worldwide. We'll get inside the musical magic of the Trumpet Monument.
5. We'll visit the Statue of Simón Bolívar and walkaorund the Park while we discover the history of Independence in Colombia.
6. Let's walkthrough the first bridge above Cali river. In the meantime enjoy a fantastic view of the river, Torre de Cali -the tallest building in the City - and the Three Crosses Hill. You'll be able to take amazing pictures inside of the arcs across the bridge.
7. We'll visit La Ermita Church, the only Neo-Gothical Church in Cali. We'll have the opportunity to see the murals alongside the walls of Avenida Coombia Tunel.
8. In this area we'll discover the influence that Cali has in the literature history of Colombia. Take a picture with the statues of the most important writers from Cali, and get amazed by the the Jorge Isaacs Theater and the a view of the Coltabaco building.
9. We'll walkthrough Boulevard del Río while we discover its atractions, that includes "la Calle del Sabor" and the Boulevard Cats.
10. Enjoy the most vibrant and colorful street of Cali. Get amazed by its street art, its woven roof and all the flavors that flows in our colonial neighbourhood.
11. Let's discover the birthplace of Cali: La Merced Church, where this dream cross by 7 rivers named Cali begun. Get amazed by its colonial architecture and enjoy the sight of Cristo Rey from inside of city center.
12. We’ll walkthrough San Antonio neighborhoud while we discover it’s history and enjoy its colonial architecture style, where you can find La Linterna Printing Workshop, several coffee shops, the best restaurants in Cali, and fantastic view of San Antonio Church.
