IMPORTANT: To access the self-guided adventure, you must first activate your booking through LP Connect. 1. Open LP Connect in your web browser: connect.leplace.online/support 2. Read the Activation Guide and enter your booking reference (looks like VIA-12345678 - you can find this on your ticket). 3. Get your private unlock code and follow the EXACT INSTRUCTIONS to install the Leplace World app (via Play Store, TestFlight, or web). Before you go: - Complete the activation as early as possible (ideally a few hours or a day before your arrival) so we can help in due time if needed. - Check the weather before starting your tour. - You can play anytime after booking. - Head to the starting point and enjoy your adventure! 1. First of all, where are we? This is where the original dam was in the river Amstel back in the year 1200, right there at the tram track. Later they replaced it more back in the direction of the Dam square to hold stronger against the floods. Left, in the direction of the street, you still see a nice “bit“ of the original river Amstel. That’s where the name came from: Amstel and Dam = Amsterdam! The first people living on this swampy piece of land were fishermen.
