Itinerary
1. First of all, where are we? This is where the original dam was in the river Amstel back in the year 1200, right there at the tram track. Later they replaced it more back in the direction of the Dam square to hold stronger against the floods. Left, in the direction of the street, you still see a nice “bit“ of the original river Amstel. That’s where the name came from: Amstel and Dam = Amsterdam! The first people living on this swampy piece of land were fishermen.
2. Discover the haunting history of Kadinsky, nestled in one of the oldest buildings in town. Legend has it, a woman's tragic fate lingers in the attic. Centuries-old tales of the rebellious Anabaptists add to the eerie aura. Dare to visit this historical alley with caution!
3. Step into the world of Abraxas, founded in 1992, where art, music, and high-quality products converge in a vibrant dual-level setting. Embracing craftsmanship, science, and eco-friendly practices, this space promotes a green and sustainable lifestyle. Inspired by German folklore, Abraxas embodies a blend of creativity and ethical values, making it a must-visit destination for global travelers seeking unique experiences.

6. Experience the best selection in Amsterdam at the second Kadinsky coffeeshop. Dive into a rich history dating back to the Club des Hashischins, where Parisian intellectuals explored experiences. A must-visit spot for enthusiasts seeking a taste of cultural intrigue.
7. Almost every artist Amsterdam, ends up sooner or later in an Amsterdam coffee shop. Artists like: Rihanna, Eminem, Alicia Keys, Snoop Dog, Pink and for example Cypress Hill, but also famous artists and movie stars like: Woody Harrelson, Paris Hilton, Burt Reynolds and George Clinton have paid a visit at the Green House.
8. The Hash Marihuana & Hemp Museum is the first and most distinguished museum in the world dedicated to the Cannabis plant. Cannabis has many different applications, from making medicines to making rope and medicinal cannabis and various products like car parts and bottles.
