Discover why Charleston is known as one of the most haunted cities in America! Begin your haunted tour at the Big Red Barn, just one block off of Market Street in the heart of downtown Charleston. Your journey will take you past some of Charleston’s most talked about haunted sites, including cemeteries, churches and historic buildings. Whether you're a skeptic or a true believer, this tour promises to leave you captivated by Charleston’s legends and rich history. The tour concludes back at the Big Red Barn; your original departure point.

Itinerary
1. Join us as we explore some of the more sinister stories in Charleston’s history dating back to the early 19th century. This 45 minute tour covers parts of Downtown Charleston including the Circular Church graveyard, the Four Corners of Law, the Old Exchange building and Provost Dungeon, and more.
2. Your carriage ride will take you past the famed St. Philips Church, the oldest congregation in the U.S. south of Virginia. Just off of the Market on Church Street, this beautiful landmark is one not to miss.
3. Our Barn is located just off of the Charleston City Market. You will meet your certified tour guide here and then you will depart on your hour-long horse or mule-drawn carriage tour. The carriage will go through the City gate at the market where the tour guide is assigned a tour route. You will see about 30 blocks of the historic district which will include beautiful architecture, churches, buildings, gardens and more. The tour returns to the Big Red Barn.
4. Pass by the famed U.S. Custom House in Charleston, S.C. Construction began on this iconic building in 1852 but was halted before completion due to the possibility of South Carolina succeeding from the Union. The building was finally finished in 1879.
5. Learn about the many mysterious hauntings in and around this historic Charleston landmark. Not only will you hear about the history of the church itself which dates back to 1681, you'll also have the opportunity to learn about the church's graveyard and the many spooky stories surrounding it.
6. Completed in 1731, this is the only surviving public building in South Carolina. Used to store gun powder during the Revolutionary War and now used as a museum, there are plenty of stories, haunted and historic, to learn while passing by.
