Itinerary

1. Wat Pha Lat Monk's Trail
This is the path once used by monks to walk up to Doi Suthep Temple. Even today, it is still walked as a pilgrimage route and used as a place for meditation. Along the trail you’ll see small wooden arches and pieces of orange cloth (fragments of monks’ robes) tied to the trees, guiding you along a generally easy trekking course.
Duration: 60 mins
2. Wat Pha Lat
An ancient temple built around the 14th century during the Lanna Kingdom! It was once a resting and meditation place for monks walking up and down Doi Suthep, known as the ‘Pilgrim’s Path.’ Unlike other temples, its charm lies in the serene and hidden atmosphere within nature.
Duration: 30 mins
3. Wat Phra That Doi Suthep
Doi Suthep, the iconic temple that represents Chiang Mai! Inside the temple, relics of the Buddha are enshrined within the indented section just above the octagonal base of the Buddha image, and in the rounded part of the chedi below the ring.
Duration: 60 mins
4. Hmong Doi Pui Village
A village where the Hmong hill tribe still lives today! Long ago, the Hmong people were spread across the highlands of southern China, Laos, Vietnam, and Myanmar. Here you can explore their culture and way of life at a small museum, and enjoy sweeping views from a scenic lookout point.
Duration: 100 mins
