Itinerary

1. Bai Orchid and Butterfly Farm
You will be picked up from your accommodation in Chiang Mai at around 8:30 am. Board the minivan and drive to the Orchid and Butterfly Farm, where many beautiful orchids are on display. Walk along rows of fragrant orchids that are lush, well-maintained, and beautifully arranged. The flowers range from small bunches to large, impressive blooms, creating a wonderful sight for flower lovers. You will also enjoy being surrounded by many colorful and delightful butterflies.

2. Wat Ban Den
You will visit one of Chiang Mai’s most remarkable temples and one of the largest temple complexes in Chiang Mai Province. As you explore the temple grounds, you will see a variety of impressive structures, including an ordination hall, viharn, meditation hall, monks’ living quarters (kuti), drum hall, and especially the 12 chedis representing the zodiac animals. You can discover a fascinating mix of architectural styles, artistic elements, and incredible attention to detail. Walking around the temple grounds, you will also find many sacred fig trees, or Sali trees, in various sizes. Surrounded by beautiful landscapes, the temple stands prominently on a small hill and can be seen from afar.

3. Chiang Dao Cave
Enjoy the natural landscapes as you relax during the scenic 40-minute drive to Chiang Dao Cave. The cave is located within a larger temple area surrounded by peaceful surroundings and several buildings. Explore this impressive cave with its spacious chambers and long winding paths. As you walk through the caverns, you will discover Buddhist shrines, beautiful limestone formations, and unique natural features. It is truly an amazing experience! The cave is home to many stalactites and stalagmites, some of which resemble animals and objects such as seals, lotus flowers, and lions. With a temple located inside the cave, you can also find many Buddha images, creating a unique and spiritual atmosphere. You will have lunch at your own expense here.

4. Bua Thong Waterfalls (Nam Phu Chet Si)
On the way back to Chiang Mai, last but not least, you will enjoy an unforgettable experience at Bua Thong Waterfall, also known as Sticky Waterfall. Although it looks like any other slippery waterfall, its unique limestone surface creates natural friction, allowing you to walk easily on the steep rocks. You can climb up and down the waterfall and enjoy the refreshing natural surroundings. Along the way, you may also spot colorful butterflies and birds, making it a fun and memorable adventure.
