Drive the boat yourself with no boat license required, departing from the center of Como, easily reached on foot from the station. The staff welcomes you, gives you a safety briefing, and walks you on board, where you'll find a sun canopy and a table to enjoy the lake in total freedom and comfort.

We'll meet you on the lakefront in front of Bar Lario, next to Pier Sant'Agostino and Como Lago station. A member of our staff will welcome you and walk you to the boat.

Itinerary

Set off from the center of Como at the helm of your own boat — no boat license required. Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled start time to complete the rental contract and safety briefing, so you can make the most of your time on the water. When you arrive, the staff will welcome you and walk you to the boat, ready to go after a short safety briefing. On board you’ll find life jackets, a sun canopy, and a small table (available on request, in advance or on the spot — the staff will show you how to set it up and take it down) to relax at during your stops. Choose the duration that suits you best, from one hour up to a full day, and explore the lake’s shores at your own pace — from Como all the way to Bellagio and Varenna. Please note: fuel is not included and is charged separately at €25 per hour of rental, paid on site. Mooring is not permitted along the lake, with the exception of our partner restaurants, where you can dock during lunch service.
