Overview
Travel along the Wild Atlantic way to the majestic Cliffs of Moher and enjoy the natural beauty of the Burren landscape along the way. Your route to the Cliffs of Moher includes stops at Dunguaire Castle, Hazel Mountain Chocolates and the Burren region. Meeting and Pickup
Tour departs Merchants Road, Galway outside the Kinlay Hostel, H91 F2KT at 09:30. Please present 15 minutes prior to departure. Tour vehicle will have 'Wild Atlantic Way Day Tours' branding. Tour returns: Merchants Road, Galway at 17:30.

Itinerary
1. Dunguaire Castle stands on the site of the 7th-century stronghold of the King of Connaught, for centuries. Today the Castle provides an insight into the lifestyle of its inhabitants from 1520 to modern times.
2. As we pass Kinvara Harbour, keep an eye out for the traditional sailing craft, Galway Hookers.
3. Your pamper stop today will be at Hazel Mountain Chocolates. While here you will be given a tour of the facility as well as the opportunity to purchase some delicious chocolate.
4. This fascinating 12th century Cistercian monastery is set in the famous grey hills of the Burren
5. We turn right in the picturesque little village of Ballyvaughan and head out on to the Wild Atlantic Way.
6. The glacio-karst landscape of The Burren is all around us as we make our way along the coast road.
7. On the return journey to Galway, we pass Lisdoonvarna, home to the world famous annual Matchmaking Festival.
8. We stop for lunch and refreshments at Hotel Doolin, before making our way to the Cliffs of Moher,
9. Experience Ireland's most visited natural attraction Cliffs of Moher. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery and enjoy a walk along these spectacular Cliffs
10. Watch the mighty Atlantic Ocean crash onto the shore here at Fanore.
11. The lighthouse at Black Head was commissioned in the 1930's to assist vessels in navigating the rocky shoreline.
