Overview

For over 50 years, NOC has been guiding guests on the Chattooga River. NOC's founder, Payson Kennedy was a stunt double in the movie Deliverance, filmed on the Chattooga River. That Chattooga is a Wild and Scenic River, protected by the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act of 1974, which provides the southeast most wilderness rafting trip.
