Overview
Stop by Llandaff Cathedral, place of Christian worship for over 1,500 years Enter the National Park to visit Henrhyd Falls, the tallest and most spectacular waterfall in South Wales. Proceed to the heart of Bannau Brycheiniog and enjoy a short stop at the second oldest tree in Wales, a stunning yew tree that is 3018 years old. Stop in Brecon town, where you can admire the canals—voted the prettiest in Britain. Visit the Bannau Brycheiniog Visitor Centre and enjoy a pleasant stroll surrounded by beautiful hills and stunning mountains. Please note that the visit to the waterfalls will involve a 30 minutes walk. The path may be steep and muddy, so we recommend wearing boots and rainproof clothing.

Please note: Due to the current drought conditions, Henrhyd Falls is completely dry as the waterfall relies heavily on rainfall. Instead, we will take you to an amazing scenic viewpoint offering breath-taking 360-degree panoramic views across the Brecon Beacons National Park. The viewpoint is reached via an approximately 20-minute walk uphill, providing a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the spectacular surrounding landscape. This itinerary alteration will remain in place until sufficient rainfall returns and Henrhyd Falls is flowing again. Please feel free to contact us before your tour, and we will be happy to confirm the current itinerary.
Not recommended for children under five years of age.
We suggest securing a personal activity insurance plan to guard against potential income loss in the unlikely event of an accident during a walk.
The walk to the waterfalls takes approximately 20 minutes each way. The path can be steep, uneven, and occasionally muddy, so we recommend wearing appropriate footwear.
Kindly be aware that large luggage and cabin bags/trolleys are not allowed. We only permit backpacks or bags up to 40 cm × 20 cm × 25 cm, to ensure the safety and comfort of our passengers.
