Wat Samana Kottharam, nestled near Wat Kudidao, underwent a notable restoration under the patronage of Chao Phraya Kosa (Lek) and Phraya Kosa (Pan) during the reign of King Narai the Great. The focal point of this temple is a striking and distinctive prang, thought to emulate the design of Chedi Chet Yot in Chiang Mai, featuring doors on all four sides and a wooden gable roof. Within the ubosot, the primary attraction is the revered Buddha image named 'Phra Si Samanagot Bophit.'
