If you do not provide us the pickup location at the time of booking and you do not inform us about it later, we will assume you will meet us at the Meeting Point at the Front Desk of the Rio Othon Palace (Avenida Atlântica, 3264 - Copacabana).
Redemption Instructions
BOARDING INFORMATION: Arrive 15 minutes in advance to avoid any delays. Contact Rio Carioca Tour [booking@riocariocatour.com.br/ +55 21 98806.5075] at least 24 hours before the start of the tour to inform location and confirm pickup time. Wait for the tour guide in the place informed on a visible location. Delays may occur due to traffic conditions. Different age policies may apply according to each location. ID or copy is mandatory, even for children. Voucher is confirmed only by payment confirmation. The tour itinerary may change its order on a daily basis due to force majeure. Read our Cancellation Policy. IMPORTANT: During high season and major events, the visitation time on each location can be affected, due to long waiting queues. Carnival-related products have a specific cancellation policy. Take care of your personal belongings as we are not responsible for items left in vehicles and/ or in places visited. We recommend that you carry all your belongings.
Pickup Information
Pickup is available from most hotels in the areas of Leblon, Ipanema, Copacabana, Flamengo and Downtown (Centro). Contact us back to adjust the pickup time. The pickup between 08:00 am and 09:30 am.

Itinerary
1. We visit to Corcovado Mountain and the Christ the Redeemer statue going through the Paineiras route. The 20-minute drive to the base of the statue takes you through the Tijuca Forest and gives you a preview of the landscapes ahead. The statue stands 710 meters tall and from this vantage point, you’ll have sweeping views of the city.
2. The cable car ride to the top of the mountain is done in 2 stages: begin at the boarding station to Urca Mountain (224 meters) and then from Urca Mountain to the top of Sugarloaf Mountain (395 meters).
3. The first step to reach the Sugarloaf.
4. Located between the Sugarloaf Mountain and the Urca Mountain, the Praia Vermelha is a charming place.
5. Located in Santa Teresa, the Selarón Steps are famous for its bright and colourfull tiles.
6. The modern archtecture is very different from the traditional cathedrals we see out there. Enjoy the beautiful stained glasses and try to guess the biblical passages they got their inspiration from.
7. Football - or soccer, if you prefer - is part of the Brazilian life. We love to watch the games and share experiences with complete strangers that get together for one purpose: support their team on the field. The Maracanã Stadium is considered our temple and a sacred place for those who enjoy a great game. We can take pictures outside of the Stadium and share stories about our favorite matches.
8. See the Carnival temple, the place where the magic happens. The Sambadrome opens only during carnival time.
