Departure time and Meeting Point - depending on the option selected: Morning tour & Morning Cooking class (from April to October): - Check in time at 8:15am - from September 4th to October 15 check in 8:15am and departure time 8:30am Afternoon tour: - From November 1st to March 24th: check in at 01:30pm - From March 25th: check in at 02:15pm at Piazzale Montelungo, at the end of the ramp connecting with the train station. An assistant will wait for you wearing blue clothing with CAF Tour - Gray Line logos. • How to reach the Meeting point from Santa Maria Novella Station Square: Take "Via Valfonda"(Valfonda street) and go straight on at the end of the street, until you see the Fortress (Fortezza da Basso). Cross the street in front of you and keep your left side, until you see on the right side Piazzale Montelungo (big square with car and Bus parking) • Please be advised that it is required to bring your original ID with you during the tour • It is mandatory to arrive at the meeting point at the mentioned check in time. In case of delay it will not be possible to join the Tour, nor to have a refund or reschedule the tour. • We recommend to wear comfortable shoes. Wineries are usually located on the top of the hill and you start the visit with a short walk along the slope through vineyards. • In the visited wineries, it is not always possible to ensure the presence of staff who speak languages other than English. • We would like to inform you that in the Chianti region, there are certain areas where the internet connection is unfortunately limited or even unavailable.
