There’s something special about seeing Cabo from the water, but whale season brings an entirely different experience. Head into the Pacific in search of humpback and gray whales as they migrate through the waters of Los Cabos, with the chance to see mothers swimming alongside their calves. Your crew will help you spot the whales and share interesting facts about their behavior and migration. This seasonal experience operates exclusively from December 15 through March 31, when these incredible animals visit the region during their annual migration. Between sightings, enjoy views of the Arch and Cabo’s Pacific coastline, along with an open bar and onboard food — egg burritos, fresh fruit and coffee on the 9:00 AM departure, or mini baguettes and fresh fruit on the 12:00 PM departure. Choose a morning or afternoon departure, add convenient hotel transportation if you prefer, and enjoy Cabo during one of the most exciting times of the year.

Pickup Information

Hotel Transportation: If you selected transportation, please provide the name of your hotel at the time of booking. Your pickup time will be confirmed after we receive your reservation, as pickup times vary depending on your hotel location. Please be in your hotel lobby 10 minutes before your confirmed pickup time. Your driver will arrive in a shared transportation van to take you to the marina. Transportation must be reserved and confirmed at least 24 hours before your scheduled tour date to ensure service. Marina Meeting Point: Guests making their own way to the marina may check in directly at Gali Plaza. If hotel information is not provided at the time of booking, this will also be your meeting point. Please arrive 30 minutes before your tour departure time at Gali Plaza, Local 39, Blvd. Paseo de la Marina, 23450 Cabo San Lucas, directly across from the entrance to Hotel Sandos Finisterra. Cruise Ship Guests: Cruise guests are welcome! Please make your way to Gali Plaza in the Cabo San Lucas marina area and arrive 30 minutes before departure. If your ship is tendering, please allow enough time to come ashore and reach the meeting point.

Late Arrivals / No-Shows: Guests who arrive late or fail to show up for their scheduled activity are not eligible for a refund.

Daily departures are available at 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM, subject to availability.

Whale watching takes place in a natural environment, and sightings or specific whale behaviors cannot be guaranteed.

The 9:00 AM departure includes egg burritos, fresh fruit salad, and coffee.

The 12:00 PM departure includes mini baguettes and fresh fruit salad.

Guests may bring their own food and beverages, although it is not necessary. Please let us know at the time of booking if you plan to do so.

For children under 8, please bring a properly fitting life jacket suitable for your child.

The tour is subject to weather and sea conditions.

We recommend bringing sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, and a light jacket, particularly for the morning departure or cooler days.
