Meeting and Pickup
The story of the Outside Escape will start at the Amersfoort Boulder. An old story about a bet and a bolder in 1661, where 400 citizens of Amersfoort moved this boulder.
End Point
The Onze Lieve Vrouwetoren is a church tower. 98.33 meters high and rises high above the city center. This makes it one of the most eye-catching monuments in the city and is the third highest church tower in the Netherlands. The tower is nicknamed "Lange Jan".

Itinerary
1. The main shopping street of Amersfoort. You can look below the bridge to see the monumental arches of the canals below.
2. The birthplace of Mondriaan (the painter) and school building of his father. Nowadays there is the Mondriaan museum in the building.
3. These houses were built into the remains of Amersfoort's old city walls. It is very interesting to see the old architecture of the walls still present in the houses facade.
4. The Kamperbinnenpoort is the old city gate. It is one of the last remnants of this first city wall, the structure of which can still largely be seen in the Muurhuizen (Wall Houses), to which the gate is still attached.
5. The Sint-Joriskerk is a three-aisled hall church in Amersfoort, located on the Hof square. The church is used by the Reformed District Municipality of Sint Joriskerk of the Protestant Municipality of Amersfoort.
6. A nice square with many bars, restaurants, and an old historic well.
7. Beautiful building that is also a museum of modern art and cultural history.
8. The Koppelpoort is a city gate in Amersfoort. It is a combination of a land and water gate. The Koppelpoort could be closed by means of a double treadmill, which still functions to this day.
9. City hall of Amersfoort. A square with lot of art and a number of references to Mondriaan's work.
