Located in one of Ireland's most important Georgian architectural sites, MoLI celebrates Ireland’s internationally renowned literary heritage past and present, inspiring visitors to create, read, and write. MoLI is one of Dublin’s newest museums, featuring three floors of interactive exhibitions, ranging from original short-films to immersive soundscapes. View priceless heritage artefacts on display to the public for the first time. With revolving exhibitions across the year, every visit to MoLI tells a different story, with expert tour guides on hand to bring visitors on an unforgettable journey through Irish cultural history. Relax amid the museum's Reader's garden, a hidden oasis in the heart of Dublin city and enjoy some lovely food at the museum cafe. Museum is open 7 days a week, from 10:30am-5:30pm. Last entry at 4:30pm.

1. Explore Ireland’s rich literary heritage in one of Dublin's newest museums. View one of a kind treasures from the Irish State literary collection - including the original copy of James Joyce's world-famous novel Ulysses and manuscripts on permanent display for the first time. Experience three floors of immersive visual and soundscape exhibitions that tell the story of Irish literature past and present, with a focus on the global impact of Irish writing. MoLI has a mixture of permanent and revolving exhibitions. Revolving exhibitions for 2023-2024 include: Ink and Imagination (Sept 2023-Sept 2024): Presented in partnership with University College Dublin Special Collections and the National Poetry Archive, this exhibition displays letters and manuscripts from Irish writers, snippets of contemporary poets reading their own poems and more. Visitors can also relax amid the birdsong in the museum's tranquil readers garden or enjoy Irish culinary delights in the Common's café.
