At 10am, your private tour guide and dedicated driver will pick you up at the hotel lobby and drive you for an hour to the Dazu Rock Carvings, the only UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site in Chongqing, where Ancient Art Meets Human Stories. Step into a 1,000-year-old open-air gallery! Dazu astonishes with 50,000 statues carved dramatically into cliffs – including the spellbinding 1,007-armed Guanyin, each golden palm holding a symbolic treasure. Unlike other grottoes, these masterpieces fuse Buddhism, Taoism, and Confucianism while vividly depicting Song Dynasty daily life: farmers herding cattle, lovers whispering, and even witty moral lessons. Don’t miss the cinematic 31-meter Reclining Buddha or the mind-bending "Wheel of Life" – all glowing under natural light along cliffside trails.Dazu is China’s grotto art finale you can’t miss.
2. We start lunch, which includes hotpot, fresh river fish, vegetables, and stir fried dishes. You can also choose according to your taste, lunch is on me。 Afterwards, we will head to Beishan Rock Carvings: Tranquil Sanctuary of Song Dynasty Art Escape crowds at Beishan’s serene hillsides—home to countless statues whispering Tang-Song tales (9th–13th century). Breathe crisp mountain air on forested trails, where birdsong mingles with ancient artistry. Marvel at the "Chinese Gallery of Guanyin", featuring ethereal Song bodhisattvas like the Water Moon Guanyin, her stone ribbons frozen in dance. Unmissable gems include the playful "Charming Guanyin" breaking divine-human boundaries with lifelike grace, and the sacred summit where the North Pagoda (1147-1155) crowns the hill—climb for panoramic valley views framing the rare Duobao & Shakyamuni Buddhas seated in harmony. We cherish its meditative solitude, lush trails & spiritual artistry untouched by mass tourism.
3. Spanning 830 acres at the Raxi-&-Hualong rivers confluence, Xiangguo Park dazzles as Chongqing's 4A-grade ecological gem. Its nightscape transforms the park into an illuminated wonderland: thousand of LED lights tracing classical arched bridges and tiered waterfalls in gold, while laser projections dance across water screens with orchestral fountain shows. Visitors stroll lakeside trails embraced by glowing cherry blossoms and magnolias, savoring night market bites amidst floating pavilion reflections. By day, explore Xiangfei Island's camellia sea and splash in aquatic playgrounds—at sunset, ascend pavilions to watch rippling "golden moons" bloom across dual lakes as folklore tales unfold through sound-and-light spectacles. This "Chongqing's Most Beautiful Park" blends Dazu's stone-carving legacy with contemporary leisure. Our dinner is also here to experience the unique night market cuisine, which we pay for.
