Overview

Welcome to Htown! Houston is the best city in Texas in my opinion and there's no place like it! The city is filled with diversity, southern hospitality, good times, love and hope. There's always something to do and good food to eat. I fall in love with this city everyday. It's such a hidden gem and I would love to show you around! I look forward to spending the day with you and you exploring Houston like a local or a tourist! I still feel like a tourist and I've been here for a long time. I will try to squeeze this big city in, in one day. I can't wait to show you around!

Itinerary

1. Houston
The sign is a three-dimensional love letter to Houston, with each letter representing eight feet tall and five feet wide, weighing between 600–800 pounds. The sign also includes 36-foot tall Beatles statues depicting the band during their Sergeant Pepper era. 10 min stop
Duration: 10 mins
2. The Heights Theater
We will ride down the unique quaint neighborhood. The Heights was a streetcar suburb—a community for residents who didn't want to live in the city and commuted by streetcar. Today, many of the Victorian-era homes that the neighborhood is known for are situated along lush, tree-lined Heights Boulevard and included in the National Register of Historic Places. The neighborhood is home to quirky shops, galleries and restaurants, and is one of the city's most desirable places to live and play. With a picturesque backdrop and a verdant hike and bike trail that leads all the way into downtown, here's how to have an amazing time in the Houston Heights. Pass by
3. Museum District
Home to Hermann Park, the Houston Zoo and 19 world-class museums, Houston's Museum District is a cultural destination that welcomes millions of visitors every year. We may get out depending on the weather. 20 min stop
Duration: 20 mins
4. POST Houston
We will explore and have lunch here. POST Houston is an entertainment venue in Downtown Houston, Texas, United States which was formerly a major regional post office - then known as Houston Downtown Post Office. The sorting facility was renamed to honor Barbara Jordan. The property is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. From 1887, the area had been developed as Grand Central Station for the Houston and Texas Central Railroad. The Southern Pacific Railroad built a new facility in 1934. Stop 2 hour
Duration: 120 mins
5. Houston Graffiti Building
To some, Graffiti Park is the best place in Houston to take selfies. To others, it's a backdrop for car shows, fashion shoots and music events. To street artists, these quiet, post-industrial EaDo blocks provide grand-scale canvases for expressing visions and making statements. The explosions of color clearly add artistry to the city's landscape. Beautiful murals everywhere.
Duration: 15 mins
6. Gifts of Texas
Cute souvenir shop in Memorial City Mall. I park very close to the shop so you don't have to walk around the mall!
Duration: 25 mins
7. Gerald D. Hines Waterwall Park
This water wall is a must see and something to experience while you're here. Get your camera out.
