Itinerary
1. You will be passing by the small charming street of Kromme Nieuwegracht. This street is parallel to Zocherpark. You will be doing various riddles here.
2. You will pass by the "Villa Orloff" by the end of Nobelstraat. The Nobel straat is perpendicular to the Kromme Nieuwegracht street. Across the street you will find the Municipal Theatre of Utrecht which holds a yearly film festival
3. A beautiful park alongside a canal.This park was built on former city walls in the 19th century. You will be doing various riddles here.
4. You will pass by a narrow street perpendicular to the park. You will find a large white house built in 1621. You will be doing a riddle here.
5. Agnietenstraat is a small street perpendicular to the canal. You will do a riddle here. By the end of the street you can find the Central Museum and the Nintje Museum.
6. Like every medieval town, Utrecht has its fair share of squares. But there’s only one that really matters: the Dom Cathedral Square. And that's not only due to the fact that it's the highest spire in the Netherlands at 112.34 meters. Whenever locals come back from holiday, they're often heard saying 'I don’t really feel like I’m back until I’ve seen the Dom.'
7. Located at the junction of two canals, Pausdam is a pretty and tranquil square. The Paushuize, an attractive house intended for the Pope (paus) Adrian VI stands there but it was not finished before his death in 1523. A statue of Christ has been placed on the left side of the house.
8. This lively street is located south of the city center running along the Stadbuitengracht for approx. 100 meters. It has its roots in pottery during the middle ages and had been changing ever since. Perfect place to sit in the sun and enjoy a drink.
